ABOUT KRISTIN

I am passionate about childhood education and devoted to helping children find happiness in learning. That’s why I’ve spent my entire career in a school environment. I’ve worked as a classroom teacher, served as an administrator and, most recently, as director of admissions at Graland Country Day School. In 2019, I was honored as a Master Teacher.

My experience informs my practice as an educational consultant, and I can’t wait to share my knowledge and skills with you, your child and your family. During my 10-plus-year tenure on Graland’s admissions team, I gained unique insight into the Denver area’s school community. From public to charter, private to alternative, I have an intimate understanding of each school’s strengths, and I’ll work with your family to identify those schools that I feel offer your child the best opportunity for educational success. I’m also an experienced advocate for students. When it comes to schools, one size does not fit all.

As the parent of two boys, one in middle school and one in high school, I understand how different even your own children’s learning styles can be. They have varied needs and diverse ways of processing information. Consequently, the right school for one might not be the right one for the other.

I hold a master’s degree in administration and policy studies from the University of Colorado Denver and a bachelor’s degree in English and environmental studies from St. Lawrence University.
